Wann ist die Nutzerrechtervergabe über die interne Joomla!-Konfiguration möglich? Die Komponente sollte über das interne Rechtesystem verwaltbar sein.

When is user permission assignment possible through the internal Joomla! configuration?
The component should be manageable via the internal permission system.

The component and dashboard tile are only visible to Super Users and Admins. So far, settings can only be accessed by Super Users.

Starting with version 2.5.13, this will be restricted to Super Users by default, but there will be a switch to also grant visibility and access to regular Administrator users (who can still be selectively excluded under the Backend Protection menu item as before).

I don't think a full, finely tunable ACL implementation makes much sense, since HTProtect is basically an admin-level thing.

Pascal The component still remains visible to other users. Maybe that should be changed. ACL would still be a good idea.

What do you mean by "component still visible to other users"? Like when you go to Extensions -> Manage, in the extensions list? I’d keep it that way (since there’s also the update source). Completely hiding it isn’t possible and probably not a good idea, I think.
Component menu and Quickicon aren’t visible and access isn’t possible if specific users are excluded under "Backend Access". Nice side effect of the uninstaller: uninstalling also isn’t possible for unauthorized users.
