The Joomla Core Update is not showing up in htprotect.app

Hi Pascal bei div. Webseiten ist in der Joomla Admin Konsole das Update 6.1.3 verfügbar, htprotect.app zeigt aber nichts an auch beim klicken von Refresh Status. Muss da was zusätzliches konfiguriert werden oder ist es ein Bug? Gruss | P2W

For several websites, the Joomla admin console shows the 6.1.3 update available,
but htprotect.app doesn’t show anything, even when clicking Refresh Status.
Is there something extra that needs to be configured, or is this a bug?

Hi, there’s just way too much delay (caching) going on, I’m checking it out now and will get back to you shortly.

It’s showing now (there was a 12-hour dashboard cache, which has now been reduced to 1 hour).

This is the first core update since the dashboard was introduced. So please bear with us a bit

With HTProtect 2.6.15 it should now also run smoothly in batch mode, including revamped success messages. 🙂

Yep, they’re showing up now 😀
Only the email notifications didn’t come through, but you’ll figure that out, I’m not worried about that.
UPDATE: on some sites it stops (downloading 5%) and the log says: core_extract_failed:http_403
After updating to v2.6.15, the Core Update runs smoothly 😉

Please wait until everyone has upgraded to HTProtect 2.6.15 – there’s a fix in that version.
The core_extract_failed:http_403 cases are probably still on 2.6.14, right?
You could also try manually updating HTP and then test again in the site detail view.

About the email: So the dashboard should send one when there’s a new J5/J6 Core version?
Can I put a toggle for that here: https://htprotect.app/notifications

Right after updating to HTProtect 2.6.15, the Core Update runs smoothly.

The switch for Core Version definitely makes sense, in case someone hasn’t enabled it within Joomla itself 😉
