Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsbelehrung)

The simplest way to exercise your right of withdrawal is directly in your account → billing: your contract ends immediately and the unused portion is refunded automatically – no form required. The notice below informs you about your statutory rights.
The following withdrawal notice is addressed to consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB), that is, natural persons who enter into the contract for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession. Traders within the meaning of Section 14 BGB are not entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal.
The subject matter of the contract is an ongoing security service for Joomla websites (monitoring, protective measures, automatic updates, rollback and malware scanning). It is a digital service that does not involve the supply of any physical item.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the contract was concluded.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by way of an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form reproduced at the end of this page for this purpose, although its use is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments we have received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract. For such reimbursement we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested that the service should begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the point in time at which you notify us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal with regard to this contract, in comparison with the total scope of the services provided for in the contract (proportionate compensation for value, pro rata).
Early commencement and expiry of the right of withdrawal
If you expressly request that the service begin before the end of the withdrawal period and, in doing so, confirm your awareness that you will lose your right of withdrawal once we have fully performed the contract, your right of withdrawal expires upon complete performance of the service.
Legal basis: Section 356(4) BGB in conjunction with Art. 246a EGBGB. Until performance has been completed in full, the proportionate compensation for value described above applies to the services already provided.
